Handmade Niche is run by Sharan and Jenny, two like-minded craft ladies who, through many years of learning, teaching, and sharing their love of creativity and companionship, enjoy passing on their knowledge to others. They create bespoke handmade bags, pouches, and hand-painted clothing, often incorporating recycled garments or new items to produce truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. Sharan and Jenny also run Bali Craft Retreats, where participants can enjoy a range of immersive workshops. Guests can try their hand at the ancient art of batik fabric dyeing and canting (hot wax drawing on fabric) and create their own unique silver jewellery in a friendly silversmithing workshop. Whether someone is an experienced crafter or just beginning their creative journey, they return home with new skills, new friendships, and a suitcase filled with handmade treasures.
